The Earth, My Butt, and Other Round Things

On Monday I started reading this book called "The earth My Butt and Other round things. It's focused on this girl named Virginia, and her hilarious views on different things. Virginia lives in New York and compared to her older sister, brother, mom and dad is rather overweight. Virginia doesn't have very many friends but it doesn't really get to her that she never knows who she is going to sit at lunch with each day, mainly because she has Froggy. Froggy is a boy she goes to school with but neither of them have the courage to talk to one another in school. They hang out daily before Froggy has to go to lessons, they do get kind of intimate but don't necessarily have strong feelings for each other. Although I'm only just starting the book, so far Virginia had just been trying to figure out where she fits in, in the world and maybe even her family.
