Going Bovine {Part 2}

In the next few chapters of the book we learn even more about Cameron, his very small social life and a few people he knows. Cameron, as I mentioned earlier doesn't really have a designated group of friends so he really just hangs out by himself and listens to music by a band named Tremelo, but he only listens to this particular band because he gets a kick out of the fact that someone else is a even bigger loser than he is. We also learn about a guy name Eubie of whom Cameron isn't close friends with but they talk and have friendly conversations. Next we meet his dad, Cameron isn't fond of his father much less anyone else but when he goes to visit his father at his job his father seems to be very unsupportive and disappointed in him because of how he throws different things Cameron has done mildly, in his face. This book is really great for people who are more so interested in reading about people's life/life story and books that are unique and have a uncommon series of events!
I never published this oops!

Going Bovine

Thanks to Evan's blog post about Going Bovine it really encouraged me to start reading it! So I've only read up to the 4th chapter but I'm already very interested. So the book is mainly about a boy named Cameron and surviving high school. So in the book he starts out by talking about when he was 5 years old and his parents and his twin sister, Jenna went to Disney World and they were all on the small world ride. So he goes on to talk about the different versions of the song in different languages and eventually they came to came to a place in the ride were he started freaking out and went on to jump into the water in attempt to get to the emergency door but he ends up having to be rescued. In the next couple of chapters he talks about how he doesn't really have a group of people he hangs out with and that he just lingers socially. The part in the book that really stood out to me is how his sister is popular and even though he makes unnecessary jokes she never stands up for him and just lets her friends pick on him and I'm interested I finding out why things are like so.
